9. Mount Srd
Of all the places we visited in Dubrovnik, Mount Srd sure was by far one of our favorites. We hiked here almost every day we were in the city. Once you see the panoramic view at the top for yourself, you will understand why.
Here are a couple of ways to reach the top:
Take The Cable Car
For those not too keen on hiking, you can get up the mountain by riding on the cable car. Make sure to check the timetable though, as the hours can drastically change in the winter months.
You can also expect to pay 170 kunas per person roundtrip (approximately $25 USD).
Hike To The Top
Another option is to hike up to the top of Mount Srd, which is completely free.
Taking only 1-2 hours, it is fairly easy in terms of difficulty, and you get views starting within 10 minutes of the trek up. That being said, any time of day will provide impeccable views, however we would recommend heading up just in time to watch the sunset.

10. Explore Dubrovnik’s Old Town
Filled with cobblestone streets, the Old Town of Dubrovnik is considered one of the best-preserved medieval cities in the world. While there is a ton of history engrained in its streets, it is still a very vibrant, lively city.
Although there won’t be nearly as many stores open in November, you can still expect to find plenty of souvenir shops, indulge in gelato shops and watch fun street performers. As some hours and days may shift with the season, you can still find plenty open on the weekends.
The best part about exploring the Old Town at this time is that there will be fewer tourists, making it that much more enjoyable.

A fun way to spend some time roaming around Dubrovnik is to head over to Gruz Market. With all the fresh produce and seafood stands, you can see what all the locals enjoy at this farmer’s market.
