Native English speakers are welcome to apply to Magic Ears.
Recently, Magic Ears and other companies have opened up to hiring teachers from outside of the USA and Canada, however, they are pretty picky about this.
If you have citizenship outside of the USA and Canada and you want to work for Magic Ears, I would reach out to the company directly and ask if they are hiring teachers from your geographical location.
4. Not A Resident of California, New York, or Washington state
Along with many other online ESL companies, Magic Ears will not work with teachers from California due to the AB5 law that has gone into effect.
Since New York and Washington state have also adopted this law that affects independent contractors, you will likely be rejected by Magic Ears as well.
5. Reliable Internet
This one is a no-brainer.
In order to effectively teach English online, you’ll need to have a stable internet connection.
Magic Ears recommends 20 Mbps download and 5 Mbps upload, however, I have taught classes on FAR LESS than that.

Note: If your internet isn’t very strong, an ethernet cable will help!
